Arizona Rain

We had some rain today. We don't have to water the cactus this week. It's good to know the roof doesn't leak. At least we don't have to shovel it. It should help the desert decide to bloom, hopefully before we go home.

Yuma car show

Craig and I went to the car show yesterday ( mar 6). The traffic jam getting there was horrendous but once there we were treated to a collection of more than a thousand beautiful old cars. Trying to take pictures of them all is futile but we got a few.The lineup to get in was long but gives an opportunity to visit with others wanting to see old cars.
I had to drag Craig away from the Volkswagen's as he wants one so bad but has been informed that he has to make do with his Yaris.
It's pouring rain this morning, which is unusual for here, so sorting through pictures is an o.k. pastime.

Houswarming

I haven't posted any food pictures to speak of since getting to Yuma so I am taking advantage of the Friedenthal housewarming to do so now. We enjoyed seeing all our old snowbird friends and neighbours again. As always we had a good time. Oh Ya I ate too much again. I can't figure out how that always seems to happen.

We celebrated Hal's birthday for him at the Olive garden. The food was good, the company was good and Hal hardly looks older at all.
