Week of fun

We are home from a cruise to Cabo San Lucas. Louise is so happy she didn't get seasick. The food onboard was so good we were forced to overeat and put back a few pounds that we worked so hard to take off. The trip to San Diego was good, as it was a beutiful sunny day. We had time to tour Little Italy before boarding the ship.

We left the car at the park n fly and took a shuttle to the ship. After confiscating my liquor they allowed us to board. I found the onboard experience a little bit not what I like to do but overall it was good.

The shows were very well done and well worth seeing. The dinner seating was a little late for our liking and they refused to give us an earlier seating. I understand their dilemma but we did book a year ago and others who booked only three months ago got to eat at six. The service by Kenneth, our waiter, was excellent.

Cabo San Lucas is definitely Mexico. However the prices are tourist trap prices if ever there were any. It was sure nice to see the ocean, flowers and trees. Even seeing the seagulls and pelicans was very nice. The weather was perfect, not to hot and very comfortable. Didn't have a lot of time but enjoyed what we did.

Las Vegas was a fun place. We especially enjoyed Fremont Street with it's light show. The bus service called the Deuce is the best deal as it's $5 for 24 hours of bus service on the strip. So much walking, my feet and legs hurt so much it made me forget about my sore back.
